The welcome lesson invites students to consider their relationship with food – how they make decisions about what to eat and how the foods they eat affect the way they feel.

Module 3: Food and Society
In this module, we will examine how food impacts us economically and how food companies market to us. You will also learn basic cooking skills for preparing healthy meals, and celebrate the way that food is part of our family traditions, our communities, and our cultures!

Green Beetz suggests you hold a celebratory culmination event after completing the program or one of our modules that will be two parts:
A Test your Noodle Trivia Championship amongst your class(es)
A visit to a nearby Farmers Market or set up a mock market in your classroom.
Every module includes:
Comprehensive lesson plans written as two, 45-minute classroom sessions.
